Welcome back to another exciting football season! My name is Eileen and I am so thrilled to be back for my second year as one of the "First Ladies of Football". I was born in Baltimore, but am originally from Puerto Rico.
With just one season behind me, I have already had so many life-changing opportunities that have enriched my experiences to the utmost! Becoming a Washington Redskins Cheearleader last year fulfilled my dream of pursuing dance and became a reality. Not only was I among one of the girls that traveled to India this past April, I, along with the whole squad, also had the opportunity to participate in the Hall of Fame festivities this year. The sequence of events that I have been blessed with this past year are those that I never though I would be experiencing today. And for that, I will always be grateful!
Aside from the exciting moments as a Redskins cheerleader, I work in the Human Resources field for a non-profit organization. I am a George Mason University Alumnae and plan on obtaining my Masters degree in the near future. This season, I will also be planning my upcoming 2009 wedding.
When I am not on the field, I love to be with my family and friends, enjoy modeling, reading, cooking with my fiance, visiting my family in Puerto Rico, being at the beach and just living life to the fullest! I also have a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures, which is due in part to being raised in a military family and having studied abroad in college. Being a Redskins Cheerleader allows me the opportunity to continue traveling and to be immersed into other cultures. Another great highlight of being a part of this great organization is being able to serve our community in different areas and supporting different charitable organizations. Also, be sure to watch out for our awesome and talented Junior Redskins Cheerleaders, who we also have had the opportunity to work with.
I look forward to another great year with the Washington Redskins and, of course, the best fans in the NFL! Having been with the Redskins Organization for three years now, first as an ambassador and now as a cheerleader, I am truly convinced that you fans are the most dedicated and full of heart! You all display such commitment to our home team in good times and in bad, which is the true definition of a loyal fan.
