My name is Chelsea and I’m excited to be back for my third year as a Redskins Cheerleader! I just graduated from George Mason University as a marketing major; and I am currently working at Potomac Point Winery as a marketing/ event coordinator.
My love for performing began at the age of 4 with my 10 years of gymnastics, followed by cheering for my high school team, Northern Virginia All-Stars, and a year at George Mason University.
Coming to Redskins has been a little bit of a challenge, considering we are primarily a dance team. I love to dance and I’ve enjoyed learning the more technical aspects of it all. Our team has such an amazing variety of women, I feel as though I learn something new everyday. This year I have the amazing opportunity of being a co-captain, to be chosen for this role out of all these amazing women is a huge honor!
Spending time with my family and friends is a huge priority in my life--crab feasts with them is one of my favorite things! I also love taking beach trips, dancing, working out, shopping and trying new things.
My experiences as a Redskins Cheerleader have been truly rewarding since the age of 19, and it is unbelievable to describe the adrenaline rush when you step onto the Redskins stomping ground, each and every home game. I’m so happy to be a part of this organization and I look forward to another winning season as a Redskins Cheerleader.
