My name is Barbra and I am excited for my second season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. I’m honored to have made this squad with such beautiful, hard-working, and smart women. The First Ladies of Football are truly the best in the NFL!
Although I have only cheered for two years with the Redskins, I have made so many memories that will last a lifetime. Cheering has given me the opportunity to travel the world and meet so many great people. I traveled to India to cheer for Bangalore Royal Challengers cricket team in the India Premier League. It was an amazing experience, not only did I learn more about India and it’s people but I learned all about a new sport. I also had the opportunity to travel to Mexico and Aruba for the WRC swimsuit calendar shoot.
I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where I received a B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations. While there, I danced on the IUP Drill Team. I also danced for my high school dance team and I have dabbled in different studio dance, like ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and modern.
While not cheering, I work in early education. I love kids, they make everyday unique and interesting. I can’t help but fall in love with them. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. They are so supportive and they cheer me on. I also enjoy working out, listening to music and watching/playing different sports. My TV is always on ESPN and I always have music playing in the background.
I am a huge football fan! So it is incredible to have the opportunity to cheer on the sideline. Redskins fans are the most dedicated fans in the NFL and I’m honored to cheer along side of you. Our team is amazing this year and I am excited for the 2008-09 season to kick off!!
