Hi Redskins Fans...My name is Barbra and this is my fourth season with the Washington Redskins Cheerleader. I’m honored to dance with such beautiful, hard-working, and smart women. The First Ladies of Football are truly the best in the NFL! I am so excited for the 2010-11 season!! I can’t wait for that adrenaline rush I experience every season when I step back onto Fedex Field.

I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where I received a B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations. Upon graduation, I’ve worked in early education with newborn babies to school-age kids. I love kids, they make everyday unique and interesting and I can’t help but fall in love with them. While I attended IUP, I danced on the IUP Drill Team. I also danced for my high school dance team and I have dabbled in different studio dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and modern. So dancing has been a love I’ve had since I was a little girl.

When I’m not cheering, I enjoy working out, listening to music, and watching and playing different sports. My TV stays on ESPN. My favorite show is Pardon the Interruption (PTI) and I love Sports Center and Around the Horn.  I am a music fanatic and I enjoy all different types of music. Whenever I’m in my house, walking down the street, or in my car, I always have music playing in the background. I love mix-tapes and can’t even count how many playlists I have on my Ipod.

I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Family is so important to me. I recently became an Aunt for the first time and really enjoy spending time with my family and my niece, Sophia. My friends are also very important to me; they play a huge role in my life. They couldn’t be any greater. I am so lucky to have such a great support system from my family, to my friends and fellow cheerleaders, and of course, to you the fans!

I love to travel, so any chance I get I am on the go. I am a free spirited, happy-go-lucky individual. I can’t be more thankful for the life I live. I have been so blessed. If I could share my secret of happiness with you it would be that I follow these two quotes in life:  "Don’t go through life, grow through life." and "Enjoy life, this isn’t a dress rehearsal for the real thing." I live each day to the fullest and am grateful for each day.

Being a Washington Redskins Cheerleader has given me the opportunity to travel the world and meet so many great people. I have made so many memories that will last a lifetime.

I am a huge football fan, so it is incredible to have the opportunity to cheer on the sidelines. Redskins’ fans are the most dedicated fans in the NFL and I’m honored to cheer along side of you. Although there have been many changes to the football team, the team looks amazing this year. As for the ladies, we’ve had a few changes of our own. We have an amazing group of beautiful, unique and talented women this season, as always! And as a fan, the squad offers someone for everyone! I’m honored to dance and cheer for the Redskins.
