My name is Arlene and although time has flown by, this will be my fourth year cheering with the elite "First Ladies of Football"!
I was born and raised in "La Isla del Encanto", Puerto Rico and moved to Virginia when I was 9 years old. I am a graduate of George Mason University, where I received my Bachelors in Integrated Studies with a major in International Business.
When I am not busy on the sidelines cheering at FedEx field, I am working as a Corporate Recruiter for the best Business Intelligence Software firm. I am able to enjoy the best of both worlds...business woman by day and NFL cheerleader by night!
With this being my fourth year on the best squad in the NFL, I’ve had the opportunity to experience many things. From going on tour in Honduras and being able to experience their beautiful culture, to representing my squad in the September Maxim issue of 2006. This are both two very different experiences that have influence who I am today.
The Washington Redskins experience has made me a well-rounded individual but if I could describe myself in one word, it would have to be "fiesty". I might only be 5’2" but when I’m fired up, their is no stopping me! My boyfriend would say I’m a handful, but I just call it knowing what I want!
On that note, I want this to be another memorable year as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. I am looking forward to a successful season and cheering on my team along with the best fans in the NFL. Hail to the Redskins!
